CLAUDETTE KNEE HIGH BOOT

Contrast is what the Claudette is built on. Panels of water-resistant suede meet along the shaft, so a black boot ends up with more going on than a single piece of leather would allow.

A buckle detail adds the polish, and the block heel is chunky at 1.7”, which is lift without instability. The shaft stands 15” with a 14.5” circumference and a flexible back panel, so it moves when the leg does rather than gripping. A thermal lining runs inside; a rubber outsole runs below. Made in Italy.

This is a boot for cold months that still have appointments in them. It takes a straight trouser tucked in, or a midi skirt with the shaft showing, and the panelling means it never reads as a plain black tall boot from across a room.
